With her stunning appearance and star-like shaped flowers, the Bouvardia can make any wedding bouquet sparkle. The sweet scent and exceptional shape of the flower was used to attract Hummingbirds in the regions where it is grown - Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Bouvardia is a strong flower with a good vase life. Bouvardia was named after Charles Bouvard who lived in the 17th Century and was a physician to Louis XIII, King of France. The flower typically blooms between May and October.
